Becoming Bold

A supernatural transformation occurs when we are filled with the Holy Spirit. This was evident in the followers of Jesus on the day of Pentecost. On that day, the disciples shifted from hiding in fear in a locked room to boldly proclaiming their faith from an upper room. The power they received was so profound that, when faced with threats of torture and possible death, they did not pray for safety or rescue; instead, they prayed for boldness.
